Stepp'n N2 School Shoes

Back to School Shoes for Kids
new shoes

Shoe Drive World Wide provide new closed toe shoes and socks to school aged children for the new school year. We collect new shoes and socks all year around, we then host a event to give out all the new shoes we have collected a week or two weeks before school starts.

Our goal is to provide shoes and socks that are comfortable for their feet and will get them through the school year is why we choose closed toe shoes.

Below is a few tips to help choose the right type of shoes for a child.

  • a comfortable fit in length and width

  • plenty of room for the toes

  • a flexible, flat sole – check the sole can bend near the toe

  • the front of the shoe wider than the heel, to match the natural shape of the foot

  • a solid heel counter (part that goes around the back of the heel)

  • laces, straps or fasteners to prevent too much movement or slipping of the foot inside the shoe.

Expensive shoes are not always better. Children outgrow their shoes very quickly.

We invite you to share in the passion of putting smiles on the faces of children in need of shoes and socks. At least 13 million children live in poverty in America which means the majority of these children go without the necessities they need to progress in life. Shoes are a very important necessities for a child and there are many benefits to a child having shoes.

Join our passion in helping children with having a pair of new closed toe shoes for school.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) states that the nation’s homeless veterans are predominantly male, with roughly 9% being female. The majority are single; live in urban areas; and suffer from mental illness, alcohol and/or substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders. About 11% of the adult homeless population are veterans.

Roughly 45% of all homeless veterans are African American or Hispanic, despite only accounting for 10.4% and 3.4% of the U.S. veteran population, respectively.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) estimates that 39,471 veterans are homeless on any given night.

Shoes 4 Vets will provide gently used or new shoes and  new socks to homeless and disabled veterans, our mission is to continue supporting our military veterans even if they are no longer actively serving. It is our responsibility to ensure veterans have shoes and socks in the same manner they fought for us.

As we work together with like-minded organizations to ensure shoes and socks are given to those veterans who need them the most. We will do this by conducting shoe drives and fundraisers,  Our goal is to make sure every veteran has a pair of shoes to wear.

Your donations will bless a Veteran.

We have a problem and we need your help to solve a problem our senior citizens, homeless elderly, hospital and home-bound elderly are the forgotten, no one checks up on them to make sure they have what they need. There are many senior citizens and elderly who go without different necessities such as socks and shoes, you have some who may not have proper fitting shoes or the wrong shoes for the weather at that time.

Data from the census tells us that one in six seniors lives below the federal poverty level. At 16%, the proportion of seniors living in poverty is also higher than the proportion of all Americans in poverty according the data.

We have millions of senior citizens who are struggling while trying to meet their basic needs such as food and medicines with shoes being at the bottom of this list to purchase.

Even though there are different organizations who help with the work done by food banks, soup kitchens, pantries and those who provide holiday meals in shelters. Shoe Drive World Wide goal is to help those seniors who are homebound, have no access to transportation, are disabled, or have no family to provide enhancements whether they are living at home or in a facility.

We will provide a pair of new socks and gently used or new shoes to keep their feet warm and properly fitted shoes to help keep their feet protected with sufficient room for movement.

Your support is very important and appreciated from Shoe Drive World Wide, our volunteers, and all the children, senior citizen, Veterans and everyone who receive a pair of shoes.
